NACOGDOCHES, TEXAS - Works by Stephen F. Austin State University graduate students will be exhibited in the "SFA Graduate Student Show" scheduled to open with a 6 p.m. reception Friday, Feb. 20, in Griffith Gallery, Room 208 of the Griffith Fine Arts Building.

"This exciting exhibition celebrates the accomplishments of our current MFA and MA candidates," said Christian Cutler, director of SFA galleries. "Visitors will view paintings, drawings, ceramics and prints by approximately 17 artists."

"This is usually a well-attended opening," Cutler continued. "The community enjoys seeing the retrospective of our most advanced students and having the opportunity to visit with the artists."

The exhibition, which runs through Wednesday, April 8, is a joint presentation of the SFA College of Fine Arts and School of Art. It is sponsored in part by Nacogdoches Junior Forum and SFA Friends of the Visual Arts.

Admission to Griffith Gallery and the show's opening is free. Regular gallery hours are 12:30 to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. For more information, please call (936) 468-1131.
