The Department of English at Stephen F. Austin State University will host poets Andrew Brininstool and Kimberly Verhines during its Fall Reading Series at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, in the Liberal Arts North Building, Room 102.

Brininstool is a visiting assistant professor of English at SFA whose works have been featured in "New South," "Quick Fiction" and the anthology "Best New American Voices 2010." He has been awarded the Sherwood Anderson Fiction Award from "The Mid-American Review" and the Editors' Prize from "New Ohio Review," among others.
