The Department of Social and Cultural Analysis offers a program of study in sociology, geography, gerontology, anthropology and archaelogy. A major in sociology prepares a student for numerous occupations in the public or private sectors. It also equips a student for graduate work either in the behavioral and social sciences or in professional areas such as law, ministry and social work.

- Gerontology 21 semester credits
The department is home to the Sociology, Anthropology and Gerontology Club. Under student leadership and faculty sponsorship, the club combines academic activities, community service and social interaction.
