- Kinesiology majors have opportunities for employment as teachers and coaches, as well as in the private sector where corporate fitness opportunities have dramatically increased in recent years. Nonteaching graduates often are employed in fitness clubs and as personal trainers.
- Health science graduates are employed as teachers; an increasing number of graduates seek career opportunities in the burgeoning field of public/community health in business and industry, health care organizations, public and private health agencies and state/county health departments.
- Dance graduates are typically employed as teachers, although some work in private studios.
- Graduates with athletic training certification find positions either in school settings or in rehabilitation centers.
