Cole Art Center to close briefly for installation of two new exhibitions

NACOGDOCHES, TEXAS - The Watercolor East Texas and the Nacogdoches Photographic Association exhibitions currently on display in The Cole Art Center @ The Old Opera House will close Saturday, Aug. 24, according to John Handley, galleries director for the Stephen F. Austin State University School of Art.
The Cole Art Center will be closed during installations the week of Aug. 27 through 31 and again Sept. 3 through 5 until the combined opening and reception of the "SFA Faculty Exhibition" and the featured faculty exhibition of Linda Post, assistant professor of digital media at SFA, at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5.
The Cole Art Center is located at 329 E. Main St. in downtown Nacogdoches. Regular hours are from 12:30 to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. For more information, call the gallery at (936) 468-1131.
