Little Lumberjacks can enjoy a fantastic summer at SFA, attending one of our camps or clinics. Area youth can learn to swim, appreciate music or attend a fun- and activity-filled recreation camp. Older kids and teens can hone their skills at band camps and sports camps.
Little Jack Rec Camp
This camp combines recreational, motivational and educational activities in a non-competitive and fun atmosphere. Camp staff work with kids ages 5-12 on basic sport skills and values such as teamwork, sportsmanship and communication.
Sports clinics and camps
High school athletes can excel in their sport from SFA’s team of coaches. In addition to five sport-specific camps, we offer the National Girls and Women in Sports Camp/Clinic in February.

Kindermusik Adventure Camps
The School of Music offers two music appreciation camps at the Music Prep House. Both camps are meant for parents and children to enjoy music together.
“Peekaboo, I Love You” is meant for newborns and babies up to 18 months of age. The class uses activities such as peekaboo, American Sign Language, soap bubbles and dancing to improve each baby’s developmental process through sound. The class includes a book, CD and toy duck.
“Beach Days Summer Camp” is for children ages 18 months through 3½ years. Children sing, dance and do beach-inspired activities before quiet time with beach sounds and gentle songs. The cost includes a book, CD and seashell castanets.

Budding musicians from middle school through high school will enjoy the School of Music’s annual summer band camps. Camps are separated for middle school, high school and drum majors, and students can either spend the week on the SFA campus or commute.
