What drew you to the higher education world?

I discovered that I have the ability to help students learn and that I enjoy watching them grow as artists and human beings.

What do you enjoy most about your role at SFA?

I find it gratifying to see changes for the better in programs that I have the opportunity to work as a part of.

What do you hope students gain from SFA?

I hope that students who complete degrees at SFA are well prepared to function in contemporary society and are fully equipped to succeed in their chosen areas of work.

What are you passionate about outside of your role at SFA?

The New York Yankees, the Beatles, Jerry Jeff Walker, Nicolai Gedda, opera, choral music, theatre and the visual arts.
