Function
Approved medical withdrawals may be granted for mental and physical conditions that prevent the student from completing the semester. Medical withdrawal requests will be considered by a committee chaired by the Director of the Academic Advising Center and comprised of other university officials. The committee's charge will be to consider the merit of the appeal based on all documentation provided by the student and any financial implications affecting the student and university. Once a decision has been made the committee chair will notify the student and any university officials necessary to process the appeals that are granted.
