The pursuit of opportunity

Students interested in building their own business, blazing new trails and working for themselves may wish to pursue SFA’s entrepreneurship minor.

With a focus on innovation and the creation of new industries, this minor will help students improve their understanding of the entrepreneurial process and prepare them to evaluate an idea, structure a management team and assemble resources in the pursuit of opportunity.

Minor in Entrepreneurship

Students wanting to minor in entrepreneurship must complete the following requirements:

B.B.A. Candidates:

  • 6 hours from MGT 366, 390, 464, 485
  • 3 add’l hours in advanced management courses

Non-B.B.A. Candidates:

  • MGT 370
  • MKT 351
  • 3 hours from ACC 231 or ACC 101
  • 6 hours from MGT 366, 390, 464, 485
  • 3 add’l hours in advanced management courses
