Classrooms

The Rusche College of Business provides all classrooms with the standard PC, a projector and a document camera.

In addition, the following software is installed by default:

  • Windows 7
  • Office 2016 Professional Plus
  • Panopto video capture and recording
  • Skype for Windows
  • Internet Explorer, Chrome, and Firefox web browsers
  • VLC media player
  • Acrobat Reader DC

If you require other hardware or software, contact Stephen Bradley at extension 1809. If unavailable, you may call Todd A. Brown at extension 3101.

Teaching Labs

The College of Business also maintains three lab classrooms: BU222, 224 and 314. Rooms 222 and 224 feature 35 student computers, a faculty computer, a projector and two monochrome laser printers. Room 314 has 53 student and one faculty computer, a projector and two laser printers.

Availability of all rooms can be found on Astra. Select ‘Calendars’, then ‘Scheduling Grids’. Please contact an administrative assistant to reserve a room. 

Open Lab

BU377 is an open lab with 12 computers running Windows 7. This lab is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Team Meeting Area

BU465 and BU467 – Each room is equipped with six tables with six seats for a capacity of 36 people per room.

Availability of all rooms can be found on Astra. Select ‘Calendars’, then ‘Scheduling Grids’. Please contact an administrative assistant to reserve a room.

Testing Room

BU328 is testing center with 17 computers as well as space for paper exams.

The Testing Room can facilitate online (ex. D2L) exams or paper exams. To schedule an exam, please submit a testing form to the testing center in 322A. Security cameras are installed, and the footage is archived for 30 days and available for review.

One Button Studio

BU352 is a video recording studio which features the One Button Studio system.

Availability of the One Button Studio is controlled by a sign-up sheet in 322A, and it is available on a first-come-first-serve basis. A 15-minute time limit will be implemented if any individuals are waiting. Please contact one of the GAs in 322A if you would like to reserve the One Button Studio during class.

The One Button Studio requires a USB Drive.

Recording Cart

BU322A – A camera and laptop are available for recording in classrooms. Please see Stephen Bradley or Todd Brown for instructions.
