MAST STUDENT INVESTMENT ROUNDTABLE

The Mast Student Investment Roundtable course provides finance students with hands-on experience in managing $400,000 of real money in an equity portfolio. Recently, an SFA student was featured on CNBC after being named the national winner.

Student success Passport

Our Student Success Passport program is a valuable professional development and career readiness opportunity. Students earn points for internships, work experience, résumés, study abroad and student organization leadership. Scholarships are then awarded to top participants in each class.

SFA Dining Etiquette

DINING ETIQUETTE

SFA goes the extra step to help students prepare for job interviews, banquets, galas and other professional dinner settings by offering workshops on the do's and don’ts of dining, including proper attire and how to network with other guests.

Stacie Shirley

Executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of Tuesday Morning

Class of 1990

Every day is “Tuesday Morning” for Stacie Shirley, a 1990 graduate of SFA’s Rusche College of Business, who since January 2016 has served as executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of the national retail chain with more than 700 stores in about 40 states. Shirley has myriad responsibilities at Tuesday Morning, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and analysis, accounting, internal auditing, cash management, capital budgeting and analysis, investor relations, and strategic leadership.
