SFA’s School of Social Work offers a unique combination of classwork, field instruction and internship opportunities that help students become competent, effective social workers. Our Bachelor of Social Work degree will prepare you for a career in a variety of settings, from schools and health care facilities to mental health and family services agencies to criminal justice, child welfare and education.
Students who earn a Bachelor of Social Work may also choose to pursue a graduate degree that prepares them for more advanced positions serving rural communities.
SFA’s Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work degree programs are accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
