Learning through experience
Our biology professors are passionate about research and hands-on experience. As a biology student, you won’t spend your four years at SFA confined to lecture halls. Instead, you’ll get out in the field and work in the lab, developing key research skills and knowledge that will benefit you when it comes time to launch a career or begin graduate or professional studies.
Within our well-equipped facilities, students can join faculty researching across a broad range of biology topics. From disease-fighting plant compounds to conservation of amphibians, our professors are researching fascinating topics, creating an extraordinary learning environment for biology students.
