The American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology is an international nonprofit scientific and educational organization with more than 11,000 members, made up of students, researchers, educators and industry professionals. One of the largest molecular life science societies in the world, ASBMB accreditation ensures the Bachelor of Science in biochemistry is of the highest quality.

What does ASBMB Certification require?

To be certified by the ASBMB, the biochemistry program must meet a list of requirements and undergo regular reviews. Approved programs have been evaluated in three areas: curriculum, faculty and infrastructure.
