With more than 400 individual online courses available to our students, you're likely to find at least one online course in your degree plan.

To browse online course offerings:

  • Visit the Electronic Schedule of Classes.
  • Search by term.
  • Define your search terms.
    • Select the subject.
    • Select your preferred distance learning format for instructional method.
    • Choose any other parameters that are appropriate for your specific search.
  • Click "Class Search."

Please note that an online course may have up to three campus visits per term. Check with the department offering the course to confirm.

For details about individual courses, consult the academic department or visit the SFA Course Information page.​ Online sections have a section number in the 500-599 range (example: ACC 101.500). Sections in the 580-589 range are reserved for nonresident students living out of state.
