Get to Know Banner...
(This Banner quick fact will change periodically. Watch for a new one to appear.)
CAPP, which stands for Curriculum, Advising, and Program Planning, is the name of the degree audit system that we will be using in Banner. A degree audit report in Banner is called a ‘compliance’ and will be available to faculty and students using mySFA. A CAPP compliance may be run on any student; the student does not need to be active or currently enrolled. CAPP only requires that there be academic history (from SFA or transfer) entered into Banner. The "What-if" option allows you to run an evaluation for any available program and major. CAPP processes the courses by chronological term, based on a "best fit" scenario and the way the requirements are defined. It will look through each of the courses, and then assign each course to the first requirement in the degree program that the course will fulfill.
