Campus Recreation's Aquatics program offers recreation for individuals of all ages to enjoy. Our outdoor aquatic facility features a 270 ft. lazy river, large capacity spa, a diving well, lap lanes, and an open recreation area for everyone to enjoy. The Aquatics Program houses group and private swim lessons, certification classes, and recreational events.
Let us teach your children to be safe in, on and around the water. We offer an American Red Cross Learn-To-Swim program for individuals of all ages and abilities designed to focus on progressive aquatic skill development for participants to become safer and better swimmers.
The cost for group swim is $45 for SFA community and $55 for non-SFA community. This fee is non-refundable. Fee does not include parking permit. Option to transfer to another class date is based on availability. Transfer fee: $20
Please visit the Administrative Office located in the lobby of the Student Recreation Center to register. Classes may fill quickly, so please sign up early or join the waiting list for the next available slot.

Private and semi-private lessons are offered to children and adults of all skill levels, including those with no swimming experience. Receive one-on-one instruction with a Water Safety Instructor based on your personal goals. Private lessons for children must occur during family hours.

If a participant wishes to renew their swim lessons, they must place their name on the waiting list to allow for other clients to enter the program. Participants must come to the Rec Administration Office to renew. The Aquatics Staff will contact you to schedule your lessons. Payments for lessons are required after the lessons have been scheduled.
Group or Private Swim Lessons maybe cancelled by the Aquatics staff for operational reasons or inclement weather. If the Aquatics staff must cancel a lesson, we will schedule a make-up lesson at a later date.
If you must cancel a Private Swim Lesson, please give the instructor at least 24 hour notice of the cancellation. If you are unable to give the instructor 24 hour notice, you risk forfeiting the lesson. Special circumstances will be considered at the discretion of the Aquatics & Safety Coordinator.
