Fitness & Wellness Program
The Fitness & Wellness programs and events are put on by Campus Recreation student employees for the well being and enjoyment of the SFA community. All events are free to partake in and often have giveaways for those in attendance. Try our group exercise classes and see what kind of workout fits your needs. The Wellness Service Center houses personal training, massage therapy and fitness assessments.
Weight Room Orientations will be offered for weight room novices to help familiarize themselves with the equipment and proper technique.
Group Exercise
The Group Exercise Program offers a variety of classes that range in intensity and complexity. Each of the many classes offered are free for SFA students, members and guests. All classes are located at the Student Recreation Center and require an active SFA identification card. To enter into a class, one must pick up a Jax Pass at the welcome desk of the Student Recreation Center. Passes are distributed one hour before the class begins. Class space is limited to 30 for most classes, 20 for water exercise classes and 9 for cycling classes. Classes will begin the first week of each semester and extend through exam week. (Including Summer I and Summer II Academic Sessions) There will be two schedules per semester to offer a variety of class times to our patrons. Schedules can be found online or at the Student Recreation Center.
