One of the premier sandstone sport climbing destinations in the Midwest, Jackson Falls boasts hundreds of routes and boulder problems that will offer the beginning climber opportunities to develop and hone their climbing skills and ranging in difficulty to 5.13 nail-biters to challenge the experienced. Spend your spring break taking in the sandstone canyons, rock-bottom creeks and oak-hickory forests of Southernmost Illinois. Challenge yourself on the rock during the day, enjoy the good food and camaraderie around the fire at night. Rest days will offer side trips to explore the 300' bluffs along the Mississippi River, an old pirate river cave along the Ohio River, the highest waterfall in the state and other incredible hiking opportunities.
