Employee Wellness is designed to create opportunities for education and participation in programs which will improve the overall health and wellness of each employee of SFA. We strive to meet the needs of all full-time and part-time faculty, administrators, staff and all retired faculty and staff. Employee Wellness will take place in various facilities on campus. Programs are scheduled before and after work plus during the noon hour.

This free program is focused on getting you healthier through fitness and nutrition while providing you with many of the great resources that SFA has to offer.

SEPTEMBER: Got a Meeting? Take a Walk.We have a small idea that just might have a big impact on your life and health. Next time you have a one-on-one meeting, make it into a "walking meeting", and let the ideas flow while you walk and talk. Watch a video on turning your next one-on-one into a walking meeting.

But while stress has been made into a public health enemy, new research suggests that stress may only be bad for you if you believe that to be the cause. JUNE: Try something new for 30 daysIs there something you've always wanted to do, but never have gotten around to it? Watch this short video that offers a neat way to think about setting and achieving goals.

- "Safe Space Training" which fosters awareness and a supportive environment for sexual orientation and gender identity issues
