Fall 2016 Classes

Wellness Wednesdays

OCTOBER: All it Takes is 10 Mindful Minutes

When is the last time you did absolutely nothing for 10 whole minutes? No texting, talking or even thinking? Watch a video on the trans-formative power of doing just that: refreshing your mind for 10 minutes a day, simply by being mindful and experiencing the present moment.

SEPTEMBER: Got a Meeting? Take a Walk.

We have a small idea that just might have a big impact on your life and health. Next time you have a one-on-one meeting, make it into a "walking meeting", and let the ideas flow while you walk and talk. Watch a video on turning your next one-on-one into a walking meeting.

JULY: How to Make Stress Your Friend

Stress. It makes your heart pound, your breathing quicken and your forehead sweat. But while stress has been made into a public health enemy, new research suggests that stress may only be bad for you if you believe that to be the cause. Watch this video on how to see stress as a positive and how to reduce it.

JUNE: Try something new for 30 days

Is there something you've always wanted to do, but never have gotten around to it? Watch this short video that offers a neat way to think about setting and achieving goals.
