The Personal Training program, housed in the Wellness Service Center at the Rec, offers a variety of fitness services that allow participants to work under the guidance of a certified Personal Trianer. With an emphasis on safety, our trainers will work with you to develop an exercise or activity program based on your individual fitness goals. Clients can select from a variety of training packages to accomplish their health and fitness goals; meet with a trainer once a month, once a week, several days a week, or more.
Our trainers will guide you through a 60-minute session that emphasizes the 5 components of fitness: cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, and body composition. Begin with a fitness assessment to evaluate your fitness level.
