Facilities
All Campus Recreation amenities will be available to students as well as all faculty and staff, spouse and dependents through memberships. Campus Recreation is proud to offer such an innovative facility to the SFA community.
In November 2004, SFA students approved a fee in a campus-wide referendum that supported the construction of a new student recreation center. The student’s “Recreation Sports Fee” began Spring 2006 and funds the recreation center. There are multiple levels within the new Student Recreation Center. Areas within the Student Recreation Center are available for reservations.

Participant Policies for Campus Recreation Activity Hours
- Validated SFA I.D. required to access activity areas.
- In the HPE Complex, students are to show validated SFA I.D., which is detected by a semester validation sticker.
- In the Student Recreation Center, members will present their I.D. at the turnstile, which will be swiped. The barcode on the back of the I.D. will allow employees to see if the patron is a current/active member.
- You will receive a shoe tag, which must be worn while in activity areas in HPE.
- Appropriate workout attire is required in activity areas.
- Food and gum are prohibited in activity areas.
- Only beverages in a sealable plastic container are allowed.
- Alcohol, drugs and tobacco products are strictly prohibited.
- Backpacks and bags must be stored in lockers.
- Be courteous and respectful of others.
- Photography and videography are prohibited without approval.
- Bikes, skateboards and inline skates are prohibited.
- Pets are prohibited, with the exception of service animals.
