Lumberjacks get in the game

Whether you want to continue the sport you played in high school, try something new or just stay fit, participating in intramural sports is a great way to get involved while experiencing team building and camaraderie with your fellow Lumberjacks. Our program strives to provide a fun, safe and competitive environment promoting inclusivity.

The Intramural Sports program takes great pride in being able to offer you the opportunity to continue your involvement with the sports you love! Whether you are a top-level athlete or just like to have fun, we have an event designed for you. We offer sports in three categories: major, minor and one-day tournaments.

Intramurals are all about being fun, safe and fair — so the biggest requirement is good sportsmanship. To be eligible, you also have to be a current student enrolled in at least 6 credit hours of undergraduate or graduate classes at SFA.

Sports and tournaments are offered in various league formats: men's, women's, open, co-rec, women's greek, men's greek and individual. Participants may compete in one men’s or women’s league, one co-rec league and one Greek league.
