What is ASAP?!
Advancing Students As Professionals (ASAP) Training is an interactive and engaging look into the world of work! While ASAP Training is mandatory for all new on-campus student employees, it is also highly recommended for returning employees or those employed by other entities. - Much, much more!
Career Services recognizes the importance of preparing students for their transition from SFA to the world of work. As student learning extends beyond the walls of the classroom, on-campus employment presents the perfect opportunity for experiential learning. Advancing Students As Professionals (ASAP) is designed to acclimate new student workers to the standards of employment at SFA, as well as to help them realize the importance and relativity of professionalism of their current positions. Skills, traits and habits developed while working on-campus with faculty and staff directly impact their success in future careers!
