Career Services recognizes the importance of preparing students for their transition from SFA to the world of work. As student learning extends beyond the walls of the classroom, on-campus employment presents the perfect opportunity for experiential learning. Advancing Students As Professionals (ASAP) is designed to acclimate new student workers to the standards of employment at SFA, as well as to help them realize the importance and relativity of professionalism of their current positions. Skills, traits and habits developed while working on-campus with faculty and staff directly impact their success in future careers!
To accommodate student's busy schedules ASAP Training is offered every:
- Tuesday 3:30 - 4:30 pm
- Friday 1:00 - 2:00 pm
*Unless specified, all trainings are held in Rusk 333
One-on-one trainings are also available for those students who are legitimately unable to attend one of these training times.
