Center for Career & Professional Development

Upcoming Events

Developing professional skills, post-college readiness and providing career opportunities

Available to alumni and currently enrolled SFA students, the Center for Career and Professional Development puts on a series of free events and workshops every semester that are awesome opportunities to prepare our students for their next step in life. Faculty and staff members are encouraged to attend all of our events to network with employers, support our students and learn more about services offered by the CCPD.

What is a career expo?

A career expo is the ultimate venue for securing your internship or full-time employment after graduation. Some expos are geared toward all majors, and some events are tailored to specific industries. These events are open to students and alumni of all majors to discover careers, learn about employers, network with recruiters, distribute résumés and reap the benefits! Be sure to set a positive first impression for yourself and SFA: dress professionally!

Employers, visit our Recruiting at SFA page for information on registering your organization.

Upcoming Events: Fall 2020

Professional dress is required at every career event unless otherwise noted. Need professional clothing? Visit our career closet on the 3rd floor of the Rusk Building to view the inventory or borrow an item.
