On-Campus Interviewing Policy
Reasonable Intention
When scheduling an interview, you should have a reasonable intention of accepting a position with that employer.
Day of the Interview
We suggest that you arrive 15-20 minutes before the scheduled interview time. This allows you time to sign in, review company information and fill out any necessary paperwork.
Cancellations
You have made a formal business appointment. In doing so, it is never acceptable to fail to show up for an interview. Cancellations should occur only in the case of illness or another emergency. In the event that a cancellation is necessary, you should notify the Interview Coordinator two (2) days in advance of the interview, by phone or email. Any cancellation will be considered a “no-show” (not appearing for an interview) until you come by the Career Services Center to explain your absence.
Two (2) “no-shows” without explanation will result in the loss of on-campus interviewing privileges for the semester. After a “no-show,” you will be required to submit a letter of apology to the company with whom you missed the interview. In addition, a copy of this letter is to be given to the Interview Coordinator.
If you have any questions regarding the on-campus interview process, contact the Interview Coordinator.
