MCAT Testing

Medical College Admissions Test

Registration

Regular Testing Fee:  $305.00

Identification Requirements

It is the examinee’s responsibility to obtain and present eligible identification at the test center.  Your identification must be in the form of a current (unexpired), major government-issued ID that includes a current recognizable photo, an expiration date, and your signature.  The name on the identification must match the name on your registration exactly.  The Test Center Administrator will look for an exact match of the name on the identification you present (First Name and Last Name(s)) with the name that appears on the test day list.  If the list has a partial name, nickname, or any derivation of the name that appears on your identification (including misspellings), the administrator is not allowed to admit you to the testing room.  (If your ID has two last names, then you must register with both names).

If you have questions about identification or cannot obtain a major government-issued identification, you must contact the MCAT Program Office prior to registering for the exam.  Contact the program no later than the regular registration deadline.

Know when your identification expires.  If your identification will expire on or before your test day, you are responsible for obtaining an updated ID.  Temporary Identification and ID application receipts will not be accepted at the test center.  If you find that you will not have an updated ID by your test date, you will have to change your test date and be responsible for applicable fees.
