Nursing Entrance Test
Cost: $50.00 (Cash, check, money order made payable to SFA,
MasterCard, Visa, or American Express)
Place: Thomas Rusk Building, Room 328
Time: Pre-Registration is required because space is limited
to 8 seats. You must call 936-468-3958 to pre-register for NET.
Bring:Two #2 pencils, payment, and photo identification.
Identification Requirements
CURRENT PHOTO IDENTIFICATION REQUIRED (One of the following): i.e., photo bearing driver's license, photo bearing passport, photo bearing military card, photo bearing school or employment identification card, high school yearbook (within the last two years), letter from high school on high school letterhead describing the student, signed by an official representative, and signed by the student. Identification letter must include a full physical description (i.e. height, weight, race, hair and eye color) or a recent recognizable photograph with a school seal or school official's signature across a portion of the photo. Letters must be printed on original letterhead with visible watermark, or embossed with a raised or inked school seal. Student and school official must sign letter in ink - student will re-sign letter during check-in and letters will be collected by testing staff.
IDENTIFICATION NOT ACCEPTABLE: Social Security card, birth certificate, driver’s permit without an official photo, and web page with photo.

- First Come, First Served
- Test Results Available Same Day. Students may take the NET test twice per each application process for admission to the SFA Nursing Program. The test fee is $50.00 each time you take the NET.
- Cellular telephones, beepers, cameras, all photographic, communication, computer and electronic devices are strictly prohibited in the testing room.
- Food, drinks, gum and candy are not permitted in the testing room.
- Calculators are not allowed
