Individuals must have prior approval from the Department of Elementary Education before contacting Testing Services to schedule their test.
Once you have received approval to take the test, you must contact Testing Services at 936-468-3958 to schedule a day and time within the “Window of Opportunity” that was determined by the Department of Elementary Education.
Place: Thomas Rusk Building, Room 328
Cost: $20.00 for testing within the elementary education testing and re-test period
$30.00 for testing outside of the elementary education testing or re-test period
(Cash, check, money order payable to SFA, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or American Express).
Bring: Payment, valid photo identification with signature.
CURRENT (NOT-EXPIRED) OFFICIAL PHOTO IDENTIFCATION: Original and valid (not expired) government-issued identification is required. Acceptable identification documents include passport with photo and signature, driver’s license with photo and signature, state identification issued by motor vehicle agency with photo and signature, or military identification with photo and signature. No other identification will be acceptable.
Accommodations for Examinees with Disabilities:
Students requesting accommodations based on a professionally diagnosed and documented disability may submit documentation to support their request to SFASU Disability Services. All documentation must be submitted well in advance of your preferred testing date.
