Claire Miller

I am very excited to be teaching third grade this year! I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science focused in Human Resource Development. After working with the Omni Fort Worth Hotel Human Resource department for over a year, I realized I wanted something more in my career. I decided to move back home to Nacogdoches to obtain my Post Baccalaureate Certification from SFA. I student taught in fifth grade and kindergarten, and worked as an Intervention Teacher at the Charter School. When the position opened for second grade, I knew I had to apply. I taught second grade for two years here and I have been very fortunate to attend multiple trainings throughout my time here. I look forward to starting a new journey with third graders and helping each one of them learn to his or her fullest potential!

Lynsey McAninch

Hi! My name is Lynsey McAninch. I am a native of Nacogdoches. I graduated from Stephen F. Austin in 2004 with a degree in Political Science and began a career in business. After a few years, I knew that I needed something more in my life. So I started the post-baccalaureate teaching program at SFA. In the fall of 2008, I was lucky enough to do my student teaching at the Charter School. I was then hired to co-teach kindergarten in December 2008. I received my Master's degree in Early Childhood Education in August 2011. I am so excited to be teaching third grade again!
