Larry Cupit
Hello and welcome to our 3rd grade classroom! My name is Larry Cupit. I received my undergraduate degree in English with a minor in History from SFA in 2003. In the summer of 2003, I enrolled in SFA's alternative teaching certification program. I earned my teaching certificate in May 2004 and my Master's degree in Early Childhood education in December 2005. I began teaching in public schools in August 2003. That year, I taught Kindergarten. Along with teaching Kindergarten, I have taught 5th-8th Social Studies and 3rd grade. In 2007, I began teaching in the Elementary Education department at SFA. I taught there until August 2010.
My wife, Christie, and I have been married 20 years. We live with our two children in Etoile. Christie also teaches public school. We believe that education is important and work together as a team promoting best teaching practices to reach all children.
I am very excited about teaching at SFA Charter and the academic professionalism that is afforded to me as a faculty member here.
