I am from Rowlett, Texas and my parents currently still live there. I received my Bachelor of Science in Education from Stephen F. Austin State University. My teaching career began in 2007 at Abbett Elementary in Garland as a second grade teacher. I accepted the position at the Charter School because I enjoy the atmosphere and the philosophy in which we believe.

Linsey McAninch

Hi! My name is Lynsey McAninch. I am a native of Nacogdoches. I graduated from Stephen F. Austin in 2004 with a degree in Political Science and began a career in business. After a few years, I knew that I needed something more in my life. So I started the post- baccalaureate teaching program at SFA. In the fall of 2008 I was lucky enough to do my student teaching at the Charter School. I was chosen as the Outstanding Student Teacher of the fall semester. I was then hired as a co-teacher in Kindergarten for the spring semester. I am so excited about the privilege to teach second grade in a school that creates a learning environment and promotes the constructivist philosophy!
