Fourth Grade: Jan Wisener

My teaching career began as a 3rd grade teacher at Kennard Elementary. After teaching at Kennard for one year; I transferred to Nacogdoches ISD. I was assigned to Fredonia Elementary for 15 years. During my tenure on this campus, I taught 1st grade for one year, two years of 2nd grade, and 11 years of teaching 4th grade. In 1999, I transferred to Raguet Elementary and taught 4th grade there for one year. In 2000, I came to the Charter Campus and taught 4th grade, all subjects, for four years. In 2005, I began teaching math and science to all 4th and 5th grade students.  I love having the opportunity to work with these youngsters two years in a row. 

I received my B.S. in Elementary Education with a kindergarten endorsement, as well as, a Master of Education as a Reading Specialist from Stephen F. Austin State University. My specialization is in Math and Science. I am also certified as a Gifted and Talented instructor.
