I received my B.S. in Elementary Education with an Early Childhood Endorsement. I am currently seeking a Master's degree in Elementary Education as a Reading Specialist.

I began my teaching career at the Early Childhood Lab in kindergarten. In 2000, I returned to teaching by accepting a kindergarten position at a private school where I developed the curriculum for their new kindergarten classroom. During the second, I began working at the Charter school as part-time accelerated reading teacher. When the opportunity became available to teach accelerated reading full-time, I accepted the position. As the Charter School expanded, I was excited about the possibility of returning to the classroom. In 2004, I taught 5th grade all subjects. In 2005, I began teaching 4th and 5th grade reading and writing.
