Academic Coordinator: Becky Griffith

I received both my Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master of Education from Stephen F. Austin State University.  My area of specialization is reading, and I am also a certified gifted and talented teacher.  My teaching career began in 1984 at Nettie Marshall Elementary in Nacogdoches as a reading teacher for first through fifth grade students. The next year, I moved into a first grade teaching position, and I remained at Nettie Marshall teaching 1st grade for 15 years.  In 1998, I accepted the position of the second grade teacher at the newly formed Charter School, and I became the Academic Coordinator in 2009.  During this time, I have also served as an adjunct faculty member for the Stephen F. Austin Elementary Education Department.
