Teacher: Angelique Beckwith

I am the TIER II and TIER III Reading teacher. I received my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialization in Reading and Early Childhood Endorsement from Stephen F. Austin State University. I also received a Master of Education from SFASU. I completed the Dyslexia Specialist program from Neuhaus Education Center in Houston, Texas and am a Dyslexia Specialist. I also am a C.A.L.T., Certified Academic Language Therapist, and a member of ALTA. ALTA is the Academic Language Therapy Association. I currently am in my fifteenth year of teaching. My teaching career started in Klein Independent School District where I taught for five years; one year in third grade and four years in fourth grade. I then moved back to Nacogdoches and taught two years in Pre-Kindergarten II for the SFA Early Childhood Lab. After the lab, I moved to the Charter School and taught third grade for four years. For the past four years I have worked with children using the Voyager Reading Program, Targeted Reading Intervention, or Basic Language Skills for dyslexic children.
