Since 1975, the R.E. McGee Building has been home to SFA's Nelson Rusche College of Business. Although the building's "bones" are adequate, the building is showing its age, and improvements are needed to better serve today's business majors.
With your help, we'll start the project in the summer of 2014.
The first floor will be transformed to a more business-oriented, professional environment with the addition of updated wall coverings, ceilings, lighting and modified flooring.
The $250,000 first-floor project ($1.2 million project for all four floors) focuses on constructing a more business-oriented environment and creating student-friendly work spaces that incorporate areas for business students to study together and collaborate on team activities. Initially, the renovation will begin on the first floor with the additional three floors receiving a facelift as financial resources are secured through SFA funding and gifts from generous donors.
Donor support is essential for this renovation project. Every contribution, regardless of amount, will help us achieve our vision for a better educational experience for business students. Individuals making gifts of $7,500 or more will be acknowledged in a special donor appreciation area in the building. In addition to funding our renovation project, you can give directly to the college and its individual schools and departments.
