Dr. Frank Brister, Ph.D., CCC-A, F-AAA
Frank Brister grew up in Yazoo City, Mississippi. He has taught at Pearl River Community College, Mississippi University for Women, Howard Payne College, and East Texas State University. He joined the SFA faculty in August 1989. Dr. Brister’s principal research interests are impedance audiometry and central auditory processing disorders. Dr. Brister is certified by the American Speech language Hearing Association. Dr. Brister is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
Dr. Danielle Perry, Au.D., CCC-A, F-AAA
Danielle Perry grew up in Livingston, Texas. She has worked at the Clarke School for the Deaf and as an educational audiologist. She became a clinical audiologist at SFA in 2007. Dr. Perry received her doctorate in audiology at the University of North Texas and is certified by the American Speech language Hearing Association. Dr. Perry is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
Gwen and Ed Cole
Ed Cole served on the SFA Foundation Board of Trustees and is a former president of the Lumberjack Booster Club. Gwen is a former president of the Ladyjack Booster Club and was the originator of the cross country team’s award for outstanding Ladyjack. Together they have served on the Friends of Music Board, and they are currently serving on the College of Fine Arts Dean’s Circle Advisory Board. The Cole Audiology Lab was made possible through the Coles’ generosity and support of Stephen F. Austin State University.
