Lambda Pi Eta Honor Society

The Tau Phi Chapter of Lambda Pi Eta was established in 2005 under the direction of R. Tyler Spradley and the student leadership of the chapter president, Stuti Mehta. Lambda Pi Eta is the National Honor Society for the Communication discipline. Students are encouraged to apply for membership. Requirements include:

To qualify for CHAPTER membership, you must meet the following criteria.

In addition to the CHAPTER membership criteria above, students must meet the further NATIONAL criteria in order to qualify for NATIONAL membership:

Graduate students wishing to join must have met the above undergraduate requirements and have graduated from an institution that did not have an active Lambda Pi Eta chapter at the time of their graduation.  Students who graduate from SFA as members are encouraged to keep participating.

If you meet the qualifications, we encourage you to join.  To join, turn in this membership form, an unofficial transcript, and the appropriate fees and dues based on your membership choice to the Communication Studies Administrative Assistant on the 4th floor of the Liberal Arts North building.  Make checks payable to Tau Phi Chapter of Lambda Pi Eta.  Your student records will be kept confidential in accordance with the Family Education Right and Privacy Act of 1974.   For additional questions, contact R.
