What is eBill?
SFA’s eBill System provides secure access to online Business Office services. Through eBill, students and their Authorized Users can view current due dates and amounts, view billing statements, make payments, schedule future one-time or recurring automatic payments, and more. eBill’s secure and flexible options allow payment of student’s SFA bills online via credit card or electronic check from checking or savings accounts.

Who can access eBill?
All Stephen F. Austin State University students have access to eBill to view and manage their own student account information. Students can grant eBill account access to others by establishing Authorized Users:

Who is an Authorized User?
Students can give others permission to access their eBill accounts by establishing “Authorized Users.” These Authorized Users are commonly parents or grandparents. Authorized Users login to the student’s eBill account to view current due dates and amounts, view billing statements, make payments, schedule future one-time or recurring automatic payments, and more. The student and his/her Authorized User(s) can see each other’s payments and scheduled payments, but for privacy protection, they cannot see each other's bank account information. Students may add or remove Authorized Users at any time.

Can an Authorized User make payment for more than one student in a single transaction?

Yes, an Authorized User can make a single payment which pays the full balance of all students for which he is an Authorized User. Here's how:


CAUTION: When paying or scheduling payment for more than one student in a single transaction, the total amounts due for all students will be paid (not just the current amounts due). To make a partial payment on multiple students’ accounts, make or schedule payments for each student separately.

Can I have my bills mailed to me?
No, student bills will not be printed and mailed. E-mail notifications of bills will be sent electronically through eBill to students and all Authorized Users. The notifications to students will be sent to their SFA e-mail addresses. Students may also add a secondary e-mail address. Here's how:

Can I have my bills e-mailed to a non-SFA e-mail address?
Billing notifications will be sent to students at their SFA e-mail addresses. Students may also add a secondary e-mail address. To add a secondary e-mail address:

How to login to eBill.
eBill is accessed in one of two ways, depending on whether the person is a student or an Authorized User.

How to establish, view or remove Authorized User(s).
Only the student may establish or remove Authorized Users. Here’s how:


The new Authorized User will receive an e-mail notification containing his/her Username, temporary Password, and login instructions.

NOTE: An Authorized User must have an e-mail address.

How to make payments on my child’s account.
Others can make payments on behalf of a student if the student has established that person as an "Authorized User" on the eBill System. Students may add or remove Authorized Users at any time by following these steps:


The new Authorized User will receive an e-mail notification containing his/her Username, temporary Password, and Login instructions.

To make a payment, the Authorized User will login to eBill.

How to confirm my payment.
Students and their Authorized Users will be sent e-mail confirmations of payments made on the eBill System.

Troubleshooting

Go to eBill. Enter your e-mail address and click "Have a temporary password emailed to you."
