Maymester Summary

Early Registration – March 20 - May 12
Maymester – May 13 - May 29
Short-term loans available May 9 - May 14 (must have $0 previous balance)

Detailed Schedule – Maymester
March 20	Early registration begins
April 19	1st bills for Summer emailed to students' SFA Titan email accounts (generated thereafter on a weekly basis)
May 3	Students dropped from Maymester if they owe a previous balance
May 9	Short-term loans begin (must have $0 previous balance)
May 10	Maymester tuition/fees due – full payment due, including any prior balance, or sign up for short-term loan (must have $0 previous balance)
May 12	Last day of early registration period
May 12	Students registered for Maymester must make full payment by 5 pm or sign up for the short-term loan (must have $0 previous balance). Students dropped for nonpayment at 5 pm
May 12	Maymester last day to withdraw with full refund
May 13	Maymester classes begin
May 13	Late registration fee begins
May 14	Students registered for Maymester must make full payment of tuition and fees by 5 pm or sign up for the short-term loan (must have $0 previous balance). Students dropped for nonpayment at 5 pm
May 14	Maymester last day to withdraw with a partial refund
May 14	Last day to apply for short-term loan
May 15	Begin $50 per credit hour late add fee and/or reinstatement fee
May 15	Last day to be added or reinstated into classes
May 16	Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) determined by Financial Aid Office – students not meeting SAP will have their summer financial aid canceled
May 28	1st disbursement of summer financial aid posted to students accounts
May 29	Maymester ends
June 21	Short-term loan due

WITHDRAWAL
Any student officially withdrawing from the university is eligible for a refund of tuition and certain fees according to the following schedules.

Maymester Withdrawal Date	Refund Amount
On or before May 12	100%
May 13	80%
May 14	50%
After May 14	0%

DROP
The following refund schedule is applicable provided the student remains enrolled (i.e., does not drop to 0 hours). If the student drops to 0 hours, it is considered a withdrawal and the withdrawal refund schedule above is applicable.

Installment payment plan available: May 16 - June 26 (must have $0 previous balance)
Short-term loans available: May 24 - June 10 (must have $0 previous balance)
Book loans available: May 28 - June 7 (maximum amount $300 for Summer I) Pick up book loan the day after application at SFA branch of Commercial Bank of Texas (CBTx) in Baker Pattillo Student Center
Cash advances on credit balances – June 3 – June 11 – maximum amount for Summer I is $300

NOTE: The term "current amounts due" is used in the schedule below. A student may pay the "current amounts due" in any of these three ways:

Make payment in full
Sign up for an Installment Payment Plan and make the first installment payment by the due date (must have $0 previous balance)
Sign up for a short-term loan (must have $0 previous balance)
