SAFE SPACE ALLY TRAINING

A Safe Space is a welcoming, supportive, and safe environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer students. Safe Space Ally Training is designed to help campuses create a safe space for LGBTQ students. One of the most effective ways to create a safe space is to be a supportive ally to LGBTQ students.

Counseling Services would appreciate the opportunity to provide Safe Space Ally Training for your department, residence hall, organization, or class. For more information, please contact Counseling Services at (936) 468-2401. To request a Safe Space Ally Training, please complete the Presentation Request Form.
