1997-1998 Co-developer and presenter of the TEKS for Leaders Professional Development Institute in cooperation with the Charles A. Dana Center at the University of Texas in Austin to prepare state level facilitators who would provide the institute for their constituents. Facilitators targeted m the Regional Education Service Centers, from the thirty largest school districts of Texas, and from the Texas Education Agency and professional development organizations such as the Texas Association of School Administrators.
Presented TEKS for Leaders sessions at the University of Texas and Texas Association of School Administrators Summer Conference in Austin, the state conference for mathematics teachers pre-conference for principals in San Antonio, and John Tyler High School faculty professional development meeting in Tyler, Texas.

Dec. 2002 Submitted a grant for an SFA Upward Bound Project: A Collaborative Initiative for Increasing Students' Success in College, for a five year project for $1,760,674. Co-author with Susan McGee and Guadalupe Guerrero and lead writer of the 100 page narrative for the grant application.
