How to Register
| Step 1. |

Obtain an official AAFCS registration form and complete all applicable sections. The AAFCS Registration Bulletin, with the form, may be printed from http://www.aafcs.org/certification/res/TexasCandidateInformationBulletin.pdf or is available at the McKibben (Education) Bldg., Room 264, Mon - Fri, 8:00 - 5:00. It may also be requested by phoning or e-mailing our office. |
| Step 2. |
Complete and sign the SFASU Clearance Application Form*. It may be printed from the link, picked up at our office, or requested by phone or e-mail. |

Bring or mail to the Office of Assessment & Accountability: Your official AAFCS paper registration form and Clearance Application Form Mail to: Courier Service to: 1936 North Street, McKibben 264 |
| Step 4. |
After the Department of Human Sciences verifies your eligibility to test, a barcode will be applied to the registration form and it will be faxed by this office to: American Association of Family & Consumer Sciences Note: Do not submit payment with the application form. You will make your payment directly to the testing company. |

The AAFCS Certification Department will mail you a non-transferable letter authorizing you to take the exam, with instructions and a toll-free phone number, so that you may make an appointment to take the computer-administered exam at a location near you. (The testing fee is $150.00) |
