Computer Administered Testing
Computer Administered Testing (CAT) is available only for:

- Pedagogy and Professional Responsibilities 4-8 (110)
- Pedagogy and Professional Responsibilities 8-12 (130)
- Pedagogy and Professional Responsibilities EC-12 (160)
- Generalist EC-4 (101)
- Generalist 4-8 (111)
- Bilingual Education Supplemental (102)
- Special Education EC-12 (161)
- History 8-12 (133)
- Mathematics 8-12 (135)
- Physical Education EC-12 (158)

Registration with ETS is online or by telephone only. You cannot use a mailed paper application to register for a computer administered test.
A Clearance Form must be submitted to the Office of Assessment and Accountability to obtain approval to test. (This office provides approval for SFA students. If you are attending another institution, that school must provide your approval.)
The cost is $120 per test. Test schedules, test sites, and other registration information are available and must be obtained from the testing company's website www.texes.ets.org. The testing site choices and schedule will appear as you are going through the registration process as selections.
