Register Online

Register On-Line

Online registration is available for TExES/ExCET, TExMaT, TASC and TOPT.
(AAFCS registration is paper only.)

To Register on-line:

  • must have an e-mail account and provide an e-mail address,
  • must pay by credit card
  • may not request alternative testing arrangements,
  • must have approval from SFASU before registering, and
  • must complete on-line registration by 11:59 p.m. central time on the day of the deadline.

How to Register On-Line

Step 1.

Print the Certificate Testing Clearance Application form.** submit completed form to the Office of Assessment & Accountability.  (Click here for a list of tests and their code numbers.)

Step 2.

  After the appropriate department advisor verifies your eligibility to test, an email will be sent to you with instructions for obtaining your TEA ID number from the State Board for Educator Certification and registration with ETS.
Step 3.

After you have updated all information at SBEC Online, viewed your test approval (see "View Examinations" after accessing your account) and recorded your TEA ID number, go to the Educational Testing Service website, www.texes.ets.org and follow their instructions for registration.
