Admission to the Elementary Education Program
The Department of Elementary Education requires the following for admission to the Elementary Education Program:
Students who are enrolled in RDG 318 must pass the Elementary Education Admission Test. This basic skills test is composed of two parts:

Writing Skills
and
- Mathematical Skills
Both parts of the test must be passed.
Students needing to repeat the test may do so once during the semester in which they are enrolled in RDG 318 - after completing the tutorials.
Instructions for the Writing Skills and Math Skills Tutorials
Students who fail one or both parts of the test may not enroll in other reading (RDG) courses or ECH 331 during the following semester.
The Testing Services Center will administer the test.
