Internship Prerequisites and Courses

Starting Your Internship Semesters

As a Junior, you are now ready to complete your pre-professional courses and take your first Internship. You must meet a variety of prerequisites before you can enroll in these classes. You must be admitted to BOTH Elementary Education and Teacher Education. You must MAINTAIN a minimum 2.5 GPA throughout the internship experience.

EC-6 Internship I Course Prerequisites
EPS 380	RDG 314	ECH 331 and Lab
SPE 329	MTH 127
ELE 304	HMS 241 and Lab	MTH 128
RDG 318	HMS 242	College level math course approved by advisor.
RDG 320	ECH 328 and Lab	3 Natural Sciences

4-8 Internship I Course Prerequisites
EPS 380	Content Area Courses	MTH 127
SPE 329		MTH 128
ELE 304		College level math course approved by advisor.
RDG 318		3 Natural Sciences
RDG 314
RDG 320		MLG 400 Taken the semester prior to Intern I
