Steps for Registering for Courses on the Master Reading Teacher Certificate Plan

What do I have to do before registering for courses?

1. Apply for admission to graduate school.
2. Complete and submit to Dr. Vi Alexander an Application for Admission to the Educator Program Additional/Advanced Certificate [PDF].  Fax to 936 468-1701 or mail to Dr. Vi Alexander, SFA Station, Box 13017, Nacogdoches, TX 75962.
3. Submit GRE scores to the Elementary Education office. A minimum score of 750 is required. You will be allowed to take only one semester of graduate courses without the required GRE score.
4. Contact Dr. Vi Alexander for advisement and certificate plan.
5. Submit an official copy of all transcripts to the Elementary Education office.
6. Register for courses specific to your MRT certification plan.
