The Homer and Velma Bryce Scholarship
This scholarship is designated for a student pursuing an Interdisciplinary Studies Degree with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education.
The following qualifications are hereby established to select the recipients for the annual scholarships to be awarded by the Homer and Velma Bryce Scholarship fund:

Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of financial need, character, prudence and dedication to Stephen F. Austin State University. Rusk and Shelby County students will be given priority.

Recipients must be full-time students in good standing at Stephen F. Austin State University.

A 2.0 grade point average must be maintained.

Students wishing to apply for a scholarship should contact the Alumni Association Office.

The deadline for application is February 1 of each year.

The Alumni Foundation Scholarship Committee will select the recipients from the above criteria from applications submitted to the SFASU Alumni Association.
